F.A.S. Team Responds to Vista Dwelling Fire

On Wednesday, March 13th at 16:25 hours, the Vista Fire Department along with South Salem Tanker 2 and Engine 166, were dispatched to Smith Ridge Road for a reported structure fire. While responding, Vista Engine 141 reported a column of smoke visible from their Headquarters and requested the working fire assignment at 16:32 hours.

Car 2032, Car 2033 and Rescue 10 with a crew of (7) qualified F.A.S.T. members arrived on scene within 14 minutes of their response. F.A.S.T. members completed a 360 size up of the heavily damaged fire building remained ready for deployment on the "A" side of the structure.

The fire was brought under control by firefighters and Rescue 10 was released from the fire scene by Vista Command around 18:45 hours.
