Shortly before 8:00am - BHFD FAS Team was requested to the Village of Croton for a Working Structure Fire. Upon the arrival of Asst. Chief Munson, a 2nd Alarm was transmitted. BHFD FAS Team was dispatched simultaneously with Yorktown Heights –and both teams arrived within minutes of each other.

It was decided that both teams would combine due to the size of the structure, number of Firefighters on the Fire Ground and difficulty to access all sides of the Structure.

Putnam Valley – FAS Team was dispatched on the 3rd Alarm, and took a position on the “Charlie” side of the structure. All three FAS Teams worked seamlessly throughout the incident.

The Fire ultimately reached a 4th Alarm; bringing the Thornwood FAS Team to the scene for relief purposes.
BHFD remained on scene until released by Croton Command.
