Midnight Blaze Under Investigation

At 2358 Hrs Bedford Hills E-198, E-199, R-10 were dispatched to the area of Hill St and Bedford Rd for a report of an outside smoke condition. Upon arrival of C-2031 the fire was located at 422 Bedford Rd, a two story, wood frame, single family dwelling (vacant). A 10-75 was transmitted by C-2031 and a special call for Ladder 43 from Mt. Kisco was requested to cover Tower Ladder 57 on the assignment. Mt. Kisco F.A.S.Team was also dispatched to the scene. The incident is currently under investigation by the Westchester County Arson Task Force ( Zone5 ) and the Bedford Town Police.
