Tanker and Truck Take in Katonah Tavern Fire

Shortly before 3:00 am on Tuesday January 26, 2010 Bedford Hills Fire Department was dispatched with Tanker 5 and Tower Ladder 57 to the Deer Park Tavern in Katonah for a working structure fire. Both rigs were on the road within minutes of dispatch with a total of 15 volunteers. Upon arrival Tower Ladder 57 went to work and assumed first due truck company responsibilities. Tanker 5 dropped the portable pool at the entrance of Deer Park Rd. and Route 22 and the crew went to work as an additional engine company working in the rear of the with the Tower Ladder's crew. Tanker 5 joined the other tankers in water shuttle operations. Bedford Hills units operated on the scene until 13:00 hrs.
