40 Year Member Harry D. Buxton - Answers His Final Alarm

It is with deep regret that the Bedford Hills Fire Department announces the passing of 40-Year Member Harry D. Buxton.
Harry had been an Active Member of the Bedford Hills Fire Department from November '85 until transferring to inactive membership in January '91.
Assigned badge #590 to the Engine Company, where he held the position of Engineer of Engine 196 in 1988 & 1989 and Lieutenant in 1990.
Our Annual Ham Night Fundraising Event was Harry's brainchild. We have Harry to thank for sparking such an amazing event!
Before joining BHFD, Harry served as an Ex-Captain of the Putnam Engine and Hose Company #2 of the Port Chester Fire Department.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Buxton family during this difficult time.
