This past Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening, some members of the Tower Ladder 57 Truck Committee traveled to the Seagrave factory in Clintonville, WI for the final inspection of our new Tower Ladder. During the trip, the committee inspected the apparatus from top to bottom to ensure that the apparatus was built to specification, while also conducting a 20 mile road test. The committee was ... Annually, the Bedford Hills Fire Department carries on the important tradition of replacing all of the worn American Flags and markers on the graves of our fallen members. This year would be no different as our members and families walked Oakwood and Saint Francis Cemeteries in Mount Kisco, paying respect and never forgetting the dedicated members who gave so much to community and country.
Shortly after 21:00 on 5/11/2021, Bedford Hills FAS was dispatched dual response to the Yorktown Heights Fire District for a reported structure fire. While enroute, responding units were updated by Yorktown Police confirming the working structure fire - Car 2531 transmitted the 10-75. Upon arrival, first due companies were met with heavy fire on a 2 1/2 story 40 x 30 private dwelling.
