Between the hours of 9:45 am and 3:30 pm on Saturday December 7th, members of BHFD will serve as Santa’s Helpers, escorting Santa Claus to various locations throughout our fire district on a Bedford Hills fire engine. Please see the attached schedule for times and locations.
All residents are encouraged to bring their children for candy canes and photos with Santa.
At approximately 05:40am on Friday November 8th, Yorktown Fire along with the Montrose VA Fire Department’s FASTeam was dispatched to a reported structure fire on Baptist Church Road in the area of Baldwin Road. A single passerby notified 911 of the fire.
Upon initial arrival, the first due Engine Company was met with fire throughout the building, and a collapsed roof.

During Fire Prevention week, our members travel to the local elementary schools, and open our doors to the local preschools for Fire Safety Lessons and Demonstrations.
