At 16:11 hours, BHFD was dispatched to I-684 (NB) in the area of Mile Marker 14.8 for a tree down on vehicles. Upon arrival, FD personnel secured the vehicles and assisted EMS. The roadway was shut down for approximately 45 minutes at the direction of the New York State Police until the New York State DOT could remove the tree and the debris from the roadway. Last night nearly 45 Bedford Hills FD Volunteers welcomed the Officers and Members of Katonah Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps. (KBHVAC) to train and familiarize our members with multiple skills and equipment covering. At 23:05 hours on Tuesday January 10, 2023 – Bedford Hills Volunteers were alerted to a Reported Structure Fire in the Lake Marie Lane Complex.
Within two minutes of the initial dispatch all three chiefs were on scene with active fire in the walls of a four story middle of the row townhouse, Car 2031 transmitted the 10-75.
