Shortly before 07:00 on Friday March 21st 2025, the Bedford Hills FAS Team was dispatched to the Somers Fire District for a working structure fire on Loomis Drive. Car 2032 and Rescue 10 responded with a crew of nine.

In 2024, the Bedford Hills Fire Department answered a total of 484 alarms. The Men and Women of the Bedford Hills Fire Department continue to answer alarms at all hours of the day, and in various conditions.
As the calendar turns to the New Year so do some Officers in the Bedford Hills Fire Department.
First, we would like to personally thank Chief Alexander W. Dennett Sr. for serving as Chief of Department for the past four years. Chief Dennett dedicated countless hours at events and meetings and alarms, as well as the time behind the scenes that often went unnoticed by many.
