On September 24, 1995 - the Bedford Hills Fire Department hosted a large scale Mutual Aid Structure Fire / MCI Drill at the Bedford Hills Elementary School. The local boy scout troop and local residents were utilized as role players as students and facility.

On Thursday, February 8th, Bedford Hills Fire was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Interstate 684, about 1 mile north of Exit 4. While responding 60 Control updated units, that the State Police was on the scene reporting the driver trapped in a tractor-trailer approximately 12 feet off of the ground.
As the calendar turns to the New Year so do some Officers in the Bedford Hills Fire Department.
First, we would like to extend our gratitude to the individuals who are completing their terms. Captain Sean Rooney who completed his fourth term as Hook & Ladder Company Captain, Vice President Jon Spano and Engineer Mark Kane. We thank them for the dedication and service to the Department.
In 2023, the Bedford Hills Fire Department answered a total of 486 alarms. The Men and Women of the Bedford Hills Fire Department continue to answer alarms at all hours of the day, and in various conditions.
