BHFD Members Build Bail Out Simulator

In response to the new rope law which was adopted last year as a result of the tragic "Black Sunday" in New York City, the Bedford Hills Fire District has swiftly outfitted all interior fire fighters with an emergency bailout system supplied by AAA Emergency. Each member is required to undergone hands on training prior to being issued the equipment. In an effort to rapidly and safely train each member, Chief McGill asked Lt. Tripodi and FF Klein to construct a training window in a second floor storage area. Hats off to Lt. Tripodi, FF Klein and Asst. Chief Bueti and all other the other hands that constructed the fantastic training simulator. Special thanks to LNT Construction for providing a dump truck to transport the material. Foreman Nickson who was previously trained on the system, took the first "Test Run". Finishing touches will be added over the next week or so. Please check back soon for updated photos.

The members of the Bedford Hills Fire Department would like to thank the Commissioners of the Bedford Hills Fire District for continuing their commitment to safety.
