At approximately 22:30 hours on July 9, 2010 Bedford Village Fire was dispatched to a reported structure fire on Hickory Lane, per protocol Tankers from Pound Ridge and Banksville and Tower Ladder 57 were also on the initial dispatch. Bedford Village Car 2041 (Aquilino) arrived on scene and reported a fully involved private dwelling and determined that an exterior attack would be necessary and began to request additional mutual aid to combat the fire, bringing Engine 198 and Tanker 5 to the scene. As units arrived on location Tower Ladder 57's crew, with Car 2032, were requested to help Bedford Village units with suppression efforts and began stretching hose lines. Tanker 5 arrived and picked up Bedford Villages supply line and became the supply engine from the dump site to the fire scene. Engine 198 and Car 2033 established a fill site on Pound Ridge Road and proceed to fill tankers for the duration of the fire. Once the fire was placed under control Bedford Hills units were released and back in service around 1:00 Saturday morning.
