Last night the Bedford Hills FASTeam was requested to respond to Mt. Kisco on a working residential structure fire. Tower Ladder 57, Car 2031 and Car 2032 quickly made the response with a total of 8 volunteers. Bedford Hills units arrived on scene and reported to the front of the fire building with the FASTeam equipment and preformed a 360 size-up of the structure.

The FASTeam developed a rescue plan and threw ground ladders to help provide egress for interior firefighters. Mt. Kisco firefighters determined that the fire was in the heating ductwork and made quick work of putting it under control.

Bedford Hills was placed back in service after operating for approximately 45 minutes. Bedford Hills units also handled an additional call for wires burning while the FASTeam was operating in Mt. Kisco.
