Bedford Hills Car 2031 and Engine 199 with a full crew relocated to Chappaqua Fire Department early Friday morning. Chappaqua FD had been dispatched to 90 Bedford Rd around 1am for a reported structure fire. Chiefs that were responding were immediately notified that there were multiple calls reporting a fire, once on location the fire was confirmed and a 10-75 was requested.

As crews from multiple departments worked the stubborn fire the previously relocated company was moved up and put to work. Bedford Hills was then requested to fill the relocate position at Chappaqua FD.

At 630 am Bedford Hills was released by Chappaqua command and returned back to Bedford Hills. Half way back, tones dropped for a MVA on the Saw Mill in Chappaqua fire district and Engine 199 was asked to assist CFD Rescue. Engine 199 took up a blocking position and provided a safety zone for members operating. BHFD was cleared by command a short time later and returned to district.
