BHFD Responds to Overturned Oil Tanker

At 2:57PM hours this date, BHFD was dispatched to Bedford Center Road in the area of Bisbee Lane for a MVA - Rollover. First arriving units located an overturned oil tanker which was leaking home heating fuel. BHFD units mitigated the leak with the assistance of the Bedford DPW. BHFD units remained on scene until 8:30PM with Bedford PD and Bedford DPW until the vehicle was pumped off and up righted. The scene was turned over to the environmental clean-up crew.
