One Trapped in Rollover

At 11:45hrs Bedford Hills Firefighters along with KBHVAC and 45-Medic-2 were dispatched to a Motor Vehicle Accident with a reported rollover on McClain Street. As Car 2033 marked responding 60 control advised that the 45 Medic was reporting a car on its side with one person still in the vehicle. Car 2033, Engine 199, and Rescue 10 arrived to find the same and began to stabile the vehicle and assist with patient care. Firefighters utilized the rescue jacks and a come-along to stabilize the vehicle so that the windshield could be cut away to remove the occupant. Bedford Hills Firefighters were able to safely remove the single occupant, who suffered only minor injuries, to waiting EMS in less then 25 minutes from the time of dispatch. MA-9 handled road closure and scene safety for the duration of the incident.
