Busy 24 Hours for BHFD

In less than 24 hours, the Bedford Hills Fire Department responded to a total of five (5) alarms...of which two (2) were Working Structure Fires, one (1) water condition (broken pipe), one (1) commercial alarm and one (1) extinguished truck fire.

A special "Thank You" to the BHFD membership and our neighbors from Bedford, Banksville, Goldens Bridge, Katonah, Mt. Kisco, Pound Ridge, South Salem and Yorktown for their assistance at one or both of the structure fires. We would also like to acknowledge the assistance from Katonah-Bedford Hills VAC, Westchester EMS, Bedford PD and Bedford DPW.
