On February 28, 2015, at 12:09 hours, BHFD was dispatched to a reported structure fire on Broad Brook Rd. Car 2031 (Lombardo) was responding shortly after dispatch and during his response was notified that a caller reported a fire in an attached garage. As members were boarding the apparatus, Chief Lombardo was advised by 60 Control that they were now receiving an automatic fire alarm for the same address. With Car 2032 (Nickson) , Engine 198, Tower Ladder 57 and Tanker 5 responding, Car 2031 arrived on location and was met in the driveway by the homeowner.

With smoke pushing from the garage and house, a 10-75 (Working Fire) was transmitted bringing in Mutual Aid Tankers, FAST Team, EMS and a Battalion Coordinator to the scene. Engine 198's crew stretched an attack line through the side entrance of the house and into the garage, as Tanker 5 supplied additional water to the engine. Tower Ladder 57 took the front of the dwelling, made a primary search of the residence and checked for any extension of fire to the second floor. The main body of fire was knocked down within minutes of arrival with negative extension to the residence. As members vented the house, the Westchester County Cause and Origin Team arrived on location commenced their investigation. Command released all M/A with the exception of Katonah Tanker 6 who relocated to BHFD to cover any additional calls in district.

Upon completion of the fire investigation, BHFD began mopping up and packing up equipment to return to quarters. During the final stages of clean up, Car 2033, Engine 199, Tanker 5 and Utility 6 were dispatched to an automatic alarm on Broad Brook Road. Upon gaining access to the residence, firefighters discovered the house charged with smoke from unattended food on the stove. Units vented the house and were put into service by Car 2033.
