From the National Weather Service, a high wind warning will go into effect at this Evening (4/2/16) until 2pm tomorrow (4/3/16).

Wind gusts up to 60 mph are expected during this time. In addition, their is also a possibility of snow showers.
With these potentially damaging & dangerous winds, we would like to remind all of a few things. The potential of down trees & power lines are obviously higher with this incoming weather event. We ask and can not stress enough the importance of staying away from all downed electrical wires.

Regardless if they are burning or not, treat every one as if they are live. Downed trees and branches will also cause these lines to drop, these lines might be entangled in them please use caution.

In the event of power lose, if you use candles for added light please use them with care. Keep them in a safe place where they will not be knocked over. With the few hours we have prior, please take a few minutes to make sure your flashlights are in working order as well. An emergency can happen at any second, power or no power.

Any hazardous situation that is noticed, please do not hesitate to contact emergency services immediately. In all emergencies, Fire, Police, & EMS should be notified first then secondly other agencies such as utility companies.
