Bedford Hills F.A.S. Team responds to Mount Kisco Working Fire

At approximately 14:30 hours on Wednesday April 26th, the Mount Kisco Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle fire extending to the structure on Laurel Drive. Car 2283 (Hughes) arrived on scene within minutes, confirming the working fire and requested the Bedford Hills F.A.S. Team. Engine 198 was clearing a residential alarm within their first due and immediately responded to the structure fire. Rescue 10 filled out the F.A.S. Team assignment with additional personnel and equipment. Bedford Hills Volunteers arrived on scene within minutes and assisted the first due companies with securing utilities and throwing ground ladders. While completing their size up of the residence, F.A.S.T. crews also removed plywood from the windows and doors of the residence currently under renovation. The incident was placed under control around 15:30 hours and Bedford Hills units returned to service at 16:15 hours.
