On Friday April 28th at 13:30 hours, Bedford Hills Fire Department was dispatched to Bedford Road for a motor vehicle accident, car into the building. First arriving units located one vehicle into the building with the occupant still inside. Crews immediately assisted EMS with the removal of the patient and secured the vehicle. Due to the extensive damage of the building, members checked the integrity of the load bearing walls, secured all utilities and requested the Town of Bedford Building Department to respond. Three patients were checked for minor injuries and the scene was turned over to the Building Department. BHFD cleared the scene at approximately 14:30 hours.
