Chappaqua Structure Fire

At 15:00 hours on Sunday, May 21st, The Chappaqua Fire Department was dispatched to Bessel Lane for a reported structure fire. While responding, New Castle PD reported active fire and the 10-75 was transmitted. 2061 arrived on scene shortly after and reported fire through the roof of a 100x50 2 1/2 story wood frame. Command (2061) special called Bedford Hills as the 1st due F.A.S. Team bringing in Tower Ladder 57 and Utility 6. Chappaqua Fire along with numerous mutual aid companies worked seamlessly and brought the fire under control around 19:00 hours. The Bedford Hills F.A.S. Team was released from the scene and returned to service at 19:30 hours.
