Final Inspection Trip for Rescue 10 (2018 Seagrave)

By Deputy Chief / Board of Director Joseph Lombardo
March 21, 2018

This past Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening, some members of the Recue 10 Truck Committee traveled to the Seagrave factory in Clintonville, WI for the final inspection of our new Rescue. During the trip, the committee inspected the apparatus from top to bottom to ensure that the apparatus was built to specification, while also conducting a 40 mile road test. The committee was extremely pleased with the product and provided approval for the apparatus to ship to Hudson Valley Fire Equipment in Brewster our local Seagrave dealer, where the reflective striping and graphics will be applied, the radios installed and tools mounted.

We extend our appreciation to Santo Curro our Seagrave Sales Representative from HVFE for his invaluable assistance during the entire process from start to finish. We also extend our appreciation to CEO Joseph Neiner and his staff at Seagrave for their hospitality during our visit, but most of all we acknowledge their commitment to designing and building products that prioritize firefighter safety.

Lastly, a huge "Thank You" to the Committee for the countless hours they dedicated during the research and specification phases of the project, as well as the final inspection. As they say....the proof is in the pudding...well in our case......the proof is in the finished product
