Working Truck Fire on Harris Road

At 10:00 on Friday August 24th, BHFD was dispatched to the area of 349 Harris Road for a reported truck fire. While responding, Car 2034 (DC McGill), requested a retone for a working fire with smoke in the distance. Car 2033 (AC Patierno) and Car 2034, arrived simultaneously, with 2033 confirming the working fire.

Engine 198 arrived and stretched the 1 3/4" trashline, and immediately began fire attack, Tanker 5 supplied E-198 with a 3" Supply Line. The main body of fire was knocked down within minutes. Rescue 10, Mini Attack 9 and Utility 6 were used for spill mitigation and traffic control.
