The Bedford Hills Fire Department has recently taken delivery of the new Car 2032, a 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe - Special Service Vehicle. The conversion was completed by Hudson Valley Fire Equipment.

The Whelen Carbide dual amp w/ Howler siren, Kenwood and Motorola mobile radios are housed in a Havis-Shields console. Console accessories include: side mounted armrests, cupholders and a 3" storage compartment. Vehicle chargers for portable radios and a Streamlight Stinger flashlight are mounted on the rear of the console.

A rear custom command console Rockland Custom Products Gear Clear w/ custom cabinet was purchased, the first for BHFD. This console provides storage for the command board, SCBA, gear and other related firefighting equipment. There is also a shelf for the emergency radio equipment, Knox Box and Thermal Imaging Camera. Also a first for BHFD is a HAAS Alert advanced collision prevention system.
