Bravest "Out Muscle" Vehicle Fire

At 11:25 hours on Saturday, August 22nd, Bedford Hills Volunteers were alerted to Railroad Avenue for a reported vehicle fire next to the structure. Car 2032 arrived on scene and confirmed the well involved 1967 Camero approximately 15' from the commercial occupancy. Moments later, Engine 199 would quickly deploy their 1"-3/4 front bumper line, putting water on the fire within 2 minutes of their arrival. Tanker 5 stretched a dry 3" supply line to Engine 199 in the event additional water supply was needed. Crews from Rescue 10 assisted the first due company with salvage and overhaul of the vehicle. The incident was placed under control, scene turned over vehicle owner and Bedford Police at 12:00 hours
