On 11/09/20 members of the Bedford Hills Fire Department were afforded the opportunity to expand their training experience at a new location. Thanks to the Millwood Fire Department, BHFD was invited to utilize their training facility located behind Millwood Station 2. Members conducted numerous evolutions of stretching a charged hose line through the facility, sharpening their skills of hose line placement and flowing water. Members were also able to practice their search and rescue tactics, a key tool for firefighter and civilian safety. Wrapping up the evening, members used a wall breach prop which simulates the need to escape a fire room in deteriorating conditions. A big thank you to the Millwood Fire Department for the tremendous training opportunity.
