It is with deep regret the Bedford Hills Fire Department announces the passing of Life Member Raymond E. Hvolbeck. Ray has been an Active Member of Bedford Hills Fire Department since August, 1, 1960. "Radio Ray" faithfully dedicated over 60 years to the residents of the Bedford Hills Community. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hvolbeck Family during this difficult time. **Service Information Raymond E. LIFE-LOVE-HOPE We all hear many words at a Funeral service for one of own but let us all ..TRY to remember just three little words LIFE-LOVE-HOPE Let us all recall in our minds the LIFE "RADIO RAY" devoted to his family, town,and country and his Second Love the BHFD. Will we be able walk through our own life as he did ? LOVE....None of us will ever be able to put a price on our LOVE ..for our family,our town OUR BROTHERHOOD that binds us together as FAMILY...HOPE.. that final word ..when we all get to the otherside ..will be able to say to the gatekeeper ..I hope my LIFE..LOVE of BHFD will get me through the Gates...IN our hearts we know "RADIO RAY" will shout out 'COME ON IN 'YOU ANSWERED YOUR LAST ALARM" NO more pain or worries...YOU're safe in HEAVEN in a room they call BEDFORD HILLS. For those of us would are unable to attend services ,,,we will Dedicate our FEBRUARY MEETING IN HIS NAME & remember all who have joined the Fire Dept in that place of God's ETERNITY sice that first meeting in Feberuary 1903...118 yrs ago
