Vehicle into Building on Bedford Road

On Thursday, February 4th at 13:09 hours, the all volunteer Bedford Hills Fire Department was alerted to Bedford Road for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. While responding, 60 Control received additional reports of a vehicle into the building with unconfirmed entrapment. The incident was upgraded to a "Rescue" call type to bring in additional resources. Car 2033 (McGill) arrived on scene, locating a multi vehicle accident with one vehicle through the store front. Vehicle occupants were able to self extricate prior to FD arrival. Crews checked structural integrity, shut down utilities and secured vehicles involved while EMS provided patient care. The Town of Bedford Building Department was requested to the scene for follow up. All patients were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. FD units cleared the scene around 14:00 hours.
