Shortly before midnight on Tuesday, Tower Ladder 57 was requested to Meadow Brook Road in Bedford for a reported structure fire. While enroute, Car 2041 requested additional tankers bringing T5 to the scene. Due to a lack of nearby water sources, a total of 13 Tankers from Westchester departments were called to the scene of this 2nd Alarm “plus” fire. Tower Ladder 57 assumed first due truck responsibilities and was also used as a elevated master stream when operations went defensive. Tanker 5 helped deliver water to the operation as our members assisted with the suppression and overhaul efforts.
