It is with deep regret the Bedford Hills Fire Department announces the passing of 61 Year Member John Goodrow.

John had been an Active Member of Bedford Hills Fire Department from January '61 until transferring to inactive membership in September '76.

Assigned badge #76 to the Engine Company where he held the position of Engineer, Lieutenant and Captain. In 1970 he was elected to the position of 2nd Assistant Chief.

John would later join the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department where he faithfully served the residents as Firefighter and Commissioner.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Goodrow family and MVFD during this difficult time.
