Earlier this morning the Bedford Hills Fire Department accompanied by our Mutual Aid Fire, EMS and Law Enforcement Partners, family and friends paid tribute to our “Senior Man” George Graniero Sr. with a speculator vehicle parade. George is a lifelong resident of Bedford Hills and an Ex-Captain with the Engine Company. He has provided 75 plus years of service to the residents of Bedford Hills and beyond.

George we will be forever indebted to you for your service, loyalty, and friendship to BHFD. We wish you many years of health and happiness, as you start your next chapter!!!

Today was not a goodbye, it was just a farewell until we see you again soon.

Our heartfelt thanks to Frank Becerra – LOHUD for the amazing photos, the Bedford Police Department for participating in the parade and providing traffic control, our Chief of Department Alexander Dennett Sr. for his extortionary efforts putting the event together, and finally a huge “Thank You” to all the BHFD Members and Mutual Aid Fire and EMS agencies from the surrounding communities that participated in the event.
