On Saturday, October 22nd, the Bedford Hills Fire Department was dispatched to Adams Street for an unknown type fire. Car 2031 (Dennett) arrived on scene and located a dumpster fire within close proximity to the structure. Engine Company 198 quickly deployed an 1-3/4" handline to begin extinguishment of the fire while Tower Ladder 57 set up for an aerial master stream. The incident was placed under control and crews cleared the scene after operating for 40 minutes.
