On Monday, December 26th at 09:29hrs Bedford Hills Fire – FAS Team was requested to respond to assist the Somers Volunteer Fire Department at the scene of a house fire on Barlow Ct.

Car 2033, Car 2034, Rescue 10 & Utility 6 with nearly a dozen Bedford Hills Volunteer Firefighters responded.
Rescue 10 arrived as the 1st due Special Service/ FAS Team and completed a 360° of the structure, securing utilities and laddering the fire room/floor on both “A” & “C” sides of the structure.

Shortly after returning the quarters from the Somers Incident, Tower Ladder 57 was requested to Stone Hill Road in the Bedford Fire District for a reported chimney fire. Due to the limited access to the property Mini-Attack 9 and Utility 6 were added to the assignment. The fire extended to the roof area and walls, members assisted with mop up and overhaul.
