Last night nearly 45 Bedford Hills FD Volunteers welcomed the Officers and Members of Katonah Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps. (KBHVAC) to train and familiarize our members with multiple skills and equipment covering. Topics covered during the training included the use/operation of an AED, EpiPen, Narcan, Reeves, Stairchair, Stretcher, and much more. Additionally BHFD personnel toured both Ambulances that were on hand.

As part of new initiatives to better serve our community, the Bedford Hills Fire Department will be dispatched on all calls deemed to be "ECHO" level, meaning with an immediate need for life-saving intervention.

We always look forward to working with KBHVAC and are excited about this initiative to serve our community better!
