For the sixth consecutive year, the Bedford Hills Fire Department was awarded funding from Stayin' Alive, a 501(c)3 charity that supports the First Responders of Northern Westchester. As a 2022 Grantee, funds in the amount of $4,600.00 will be utilized to offset the cost of purchasing four new Elkhart Brass Select O Matic XD Adjustable Flow Nozzles .

We are extremely grateful to the Stayin' Alive Charity for their generosity, which will further allow us to better protect the residents of the Bedford Hills Fire District and surrounding communities. We encourage you to help support this wonderful organization that has helped support numerous first responder agencies in Northern Westchester.

We have been previously awarded grant assistance from the Stayin' Alive Charity to purchase:

2017: Bullard Thermal Imaging Camera which allows firefighters to view heat in a given area. This helps to locate fire and/or victims during structure fires, motor vehicle accidents and large area search efforts.

2018: (2) LIFEPAK CR Plus AEDs and (2) Infant-Child Conversion Kits.

2019: (6) Petzl Vertex Best Rescue Helmets with (6) Petzl Duo S Ultra Powerful Headlamps.

2020: (4) Mustang Survival Ice Commander Rescue Suits.

2021: (2) FAST Board Systems – for downed firefighters & water rescue emergencies.
