Members of the Bedford Hills FD were alerted early in the morning on Wednesday the 8th to Interstate 684 for a vehicle off the roadway with entrapment. Both Cars 2032 and 2033 were responding within minutes follow shortly after by Engine 199 with a full crew. Car 2032 (Assistant Chief Patierno) was first on scene with New York State Police and confirmed a single car rollover into the woods.

NYSP assisted the sole uninjured occupant out of the vehicle. Engine 199 arrived and checked the car for stability and any hazards, as well as searched the surrounding area for any additional occupants.

KBHVAC and WEMS evaluated the patient and transported him to a nearby hospital. Reliable Towing was requested with a heavy duty rotator and a flatbed for the specialized removal of the car. Once the car was on the flatbed the scene was turned over to the NYSP and all BHFD units were place back into service.
