Every year around Memorial Day, Bedford Hills members remember our deceased members and their contribution to the department by placing American flags at their grave sites.

On May 19 of this year, the pictured members plus a few others not pictured, placed flags at 107 graves in the Oakwood and St Francis cemeteries in Mt Kisco. The prior weekend, 46 graves were decorated in the same way at the Bedford Union cemetery.

Placing flags on each grave gives us a sense of connection to our history and some of the members that built this department.
