On the afternoon of Super Bowl Sunday, February 8, 2026, BHFD members were dispatched at 15:12 to the area of Meeting House Road and Haines Road for a possible shed fire. A full department response was activated by 60 Control. Cars 2031 and 2032 were on the road immediately following dispatch.

Shortly after, 60 Control received multiple reports of an active fire in the area. Cars 2031 and 2032 arrived on scene to confirm the address and the shed fire. Engine 198 responded with Tanker 5 close behind. Upon arrival, Engine 198 stretched 450 feet of 2-inch hose from the back step to begin fire suppression. The crew from Engine 198 had to stretch the hose across two feet of snow on the lawn to reach the fire.

Tanker 5 arrived on scene and connected a 3-inch supply line to Engine 198. Crews from Engine 198 and Tanker 5 encountered heavy fire conditions throughout the structure. The fire was later brought under control, and the WCDES Cause and Origin Team was requested to determine the cause of the fire.
