| FIRE PREVENTION WEEK 2026 – DAY 3!
The Bedford Hills Fire Department continued our Fire Prevention Week activities today with Day 3 of our school visits!
🏫 Today, our members had the pleasure of visiting West Patent Elementary School!
Our firefighters enjoyed spending time with the students, sharing important fire safety tips, discussing what to do in the event of a fire or emergency, and teaching them the importance of having a family emergency escape plan and meeting place.
🚒 Fire prevention education is an important part of our mission at the Bedford Hills Fire Department. Teaching children about fire safety at a young age helps build lifelong safety habits and keeps our community safer!
👏 A special THANK YOU to West Patent Elementary School, its teachers, and staff for welcoming our members and allowing us to share these important fire safety messages with the students!
🔥 Stay tuned as we continue Fire Prevention Week with our Annual Open House this Sunday, October 12, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bedford Hills Fire House.
