Bedford Hills Fire Department Candidate Program
The Bedford Hills Fire Department Candidate Program is for members of the Bedford Hills Fire District aged 16 who wish to gain knowledge in the basics of firefighting as well as stimulate interest for the the volunteer fire service. Members are trained in the very basics of firefighting; which include, but are not limited to: establishing a fire line, packing hose, manning a hydrant and changing SCBA bottles. The Candidate Program plays a very important role in the Bedford Hills Fire Department, and we are always accepting applications for new members.
