The Bedford Hills Fire District is pleased to announce that our proposed Bond Issue to allow the expansion and renovation of our current firehouse passed by a large majority of the voters. Those in favor outweighed those against the bond issue by eight to one!
This vote will allow us to continue with our plans. It will probably be the spring of 2010 before actual construction will start. The finalization of the building plans and the bidding process will take that long.
We thank the community of Bedford Hills for supporting our district.
Continued thanks to the volunteers who respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
