By Engineer Will Guest
September 24, 2007
On Monday September 24, members of the Bedford Hills Fire Department traveled down to Valhalla, NY to the Westchester County Fire Training Center to participate in car fire training. Members of the department trained on hoseline advancement as well as forcible entry during multiple car fire evolutions. Once the live fire training portion of the drill was complete, Junior Corp. members were given a chance to work on hose line advancement, as well as overhaul on the charred cars. Bedford Hills Fire Department members train on numerous topics year round on the last three Mondays of each month.
