Sunday Morning Extrication Drill
By 1st Assistant Chief Jason Nickson
July 31, 2015
On a very hot and very humid Sunday morning, BHFD members participated in a little extra hands on extrication training. The Drill was run by Captain Jon Spano of the Rescue Company, and assisted by Ex-Captain Carmen Curro and FF Mark Kane of the Training Division.
Members refreshed themselves with Vehicle Stabilization, Res-Q-Jack, Victim Removal and Extrication Techniques.
As always the Bedford Hills Fire Department is looking for members. If you're interested in serving the community please visit BedfordHillsFD.org or stop by BHFD on Monday Evenings between 7-10PM.
