Afternoon Car Fire in Penwood Estates

BHFD was dispatched to the Penwood Estates for a vehicle fire next to a structure. Car 2032 arrived on the scene and took command of an active car fire. At the time of arrival the car was fully involved and was approximately 40 feet from the structure. There was no damage to the structure. Units remained on the scene as the Westchester County Cause and Origin team investigated the cause of the fire. The investigation remains open.
