Truck Company Operations on Donated Structure
By 1st Assistant Chief Joseph Lombardo
August 8, 2005
On Monday afternoon Chief Santo Curro delivered great news to the officers that the Palotta Landscaping building at 132 Green Lane that was due to be demolished on Tuesday was graciously donated to the Bedford Hills Fire Department by Joseph and Michael Palotta. A few hours later the sound of saws and tools could be heard as the members of the Bedford Hills Fire Department drilled from 6:30 pm to 10:00 p.m. on truck company operations and fire fighter survival.
The members of the Bedford Hills Fire Department would like to extend our sincere thanks to Joseph and Michael Palotta for allowing us to drill on their structure before they demolished it on Tuesday. Your generosity and support of BHFD is appreciated.
