MVA Saw Mill Parkway

On October 31,2005 at around 23:50hrs. R-10, MA-9 and Engine 198 were dispatched to a report of a MVA on the Saw Mill River Parkway South Bound just South of Exit 39S. Upon arrival R-10 found a single car rollover off the roadway, Bedford PD was on scene with the only victim who self extricated himself through the sunroof. The crews from R-10 and MA-9 stabilized the car while the crew from E-198 stood fast incase of any fire. The victim was treated on scene by KBHVAC and Westchester EMS, then transported to Westchester Medical Center with minor injuries. All units were cleared by car C-2031 around 01:25hrs.
