Boy Scouts Troop 1 and Cub Scouts Pack 170 conducted the annual flag replacement ceremony on Sunday 5/7 to remember our military veterans and members of the Bedford Hills Fire Department. To honor them we replaced flags at Buxton Cemetery, Union cemetery and Pound Ridge Cemetery. The Scouts have been doing this for several years with military members from the American Legion and Bedford Veterans Committee. Thank you Mike Palladino for representing the military. and the American Legion for your support. When families visit their loved one’s graves on Memorial Day weekend they will be honored that a new US flag is standing over their loved one. The military veterans whose flags we replaced served in all of our nation’s conflicts from the American Revolution to the present.
