Sunday’s early morning snow showers led to slippery roadways and three separate calls for assistance. The first incident was reported at 08:42 for a single-car MVA northbound on the Saw Mill River Parkway. Car 2033, Engine 199, and Rescue 10 responded. The initial dispatch reported the incident north of Exit 34 (Mt. Kisco Ave), but it was located just south of the exit in the Mt. Kisco Fire District. Car 2033 established command and updated the location to 60 Control, who dispatched Mt. Kisco Fire to the scene. Engine 199 and Rescue 10 took a blocking position in the left lane, establishing a safe area for responders to operate. Units operated for approximately 45 minutes.

While en route back to headquarters, a second incident—a single-car MVA—was located on the Saw Mill River Parkway just north of Exit 39 (Bedford Rd / Rt. 117) at approximately 09:25. Car 2033 reported the incident to 60 Control and directed Rescue 10 to close the roadway at Exit 39, diverting all traffic onto Rt. 117. Engine 199 responded to the scene, secured the vehicle, and directed blocked traffic away from the incident while EMS agencies evaluated the driver. While units were operating, a third incident was reported at approximately 09:45: a reported motor vehicle fire in close proximity to a structure on Old Wagon Rd.

Car 2034, Engine 198, and Tanker 5 responded to the third incident while units already committed to the parkway continued to operate. While en route, Car 2034 reported a visible header of smoke and confirmed a working vehicle fire. Arriving units found a well-involved vehicle fire—a pickup truck with an attached plow—approximately 75 feet from the structure. Engine 198 stretched a 150-foot 1¾-inch line and began extinguishment operations while Tanker 5 connected to Engine 198 to supply additional water. Engine 199 and Rescue 10 operated at the second incident for approximately 35 minutes and, once clear from the parkway, relocated to the third incident to provide additional manpower. Units operated for approximately one hour.
