BEDFORD – An 82-year-old man was critically injured with severe burns by a fire that ripped through his apartment in an assisted-living community Thursday afternoon, police said.

GOLDENS BRIDGE — An electrical fire heavily damaged the Goldens Bridge firehouse on Monday morning and destroyed a 1943 brush truck, officials said.
