Tanker 5 takes in Water Supply class hosted by Croton On Hudson FD

- BHFD along with surrounding mutual aid companies participated in weekend Rural Water Supply class hosted by the Croton on Hudson Fire Department in conjunction with Got Big Water Associates. Topics reviewed were fill and dump operations, drafting and porta tank placement. The weekend concluded with a 2-hour ISO drill in which companies sustained a 1,250 gpm flow using just one fill site. - On Friday April 19 Bedford Hills Fire Department was dispatched automatic aid along with the Yorktown Heights Fire Department to a reported structure fire. Tanker and FAS Team on Bedford Village Working Fire
APRIL 11
- A Thursday morning fire caused damage to an outbuilding of Coker Farm in Bedford. The Bedford Fire Department responded to the fire at 10:34 a.m., said Aric Bittker, second assistant chief.
