On Tuesday December 21, Bedford Hills and Bedford Village Fire Departments were dispatched to South Bedford Road at the District Lines for a Motor Vehicle Accident, Rollover with Extrication. Upon arrival of Car 2031 (Lombardo) a single SUV was found to be overturned, in the roadway with one occupant requiring extrication.

The Crews of Engine 199 (BHFD) and Rescue 44 (BVFD) worked simultaneously on opposite sides of the vehicle to preform door removals to gain patient access. Rescue 10's crew handled stabilization, while Mini-Attack 9 (BHFD) and U-140 (BVFD) assisted with traffic control. Katonah Bedford Hills Ambulance Corps. transported the occupant Advanced Life Support to the Westchester County Medical Center, with a Westchester EMS Paramedic aboard.

While operating on South Bedford Road, BHFD Volunteers also handled a Smoke from the Structure Call on Cherry Street, which was determined to be unfounded.

The Roadway remained closed for approximately 8 hours so the utility pole and wires could be repaired.
