Shortly before 06:00 on Thursday June 22, Bedford FD along with Tower Ladder 57 and Tanker 3 from Pound Ridge were dispatched to a reported BBQ Grill on fire next to the residence. Car 2042 (Chief Klein) arrived on scene within two minutes of dispatch and immediately transmitted the 10-75, now Tanker 5 to the scene as well as additional mutual aid units.

The main body of fire was knocked down within minutes after the arrival of Engine 109. E109 laid a 5" supply line up the driveway that was nursed by Tankers 3 and 5. Tower Ladder 57 took position on the "B" side of the residence and its crew preformed first due truck company responsibilities.
