April 22, 2022

Just after midnight Monday morning your Bedford Hills Volunteers were requested Mutual Aid to the Millwood Fire District for a working structure fire in an abandoned castle-like structure.

Tanker 5 and Car 2032 with a crew of nine were quick to respond and render assistance to the Millwood and Croton-on-Hudson crews operating on the scene. The crew from Tanker 5 assisted in deploying ground ladders, as well as operated a hose line on multiple floors of the fire building, while Tanker 5 provided water to the scene, in addition to the tankers from Millwood and Croton.

After operating for nearly three hours, and the fire deemed under control, BHFD was released by Millwood Command.

Units: Car 2032, Tanker 5
