| 🌊 **NYS Surface Water Rescue Training** 🌊
Congratulations to the members of the Bedford Hills Fire Department who successfully completed the New York State Surface Water Rescue course.
This specialized course emphasized rescue operations in flat or slow moving bodies of water, including pools, lakes, ponds, and bays. Members received hands on training and developed the skills needed to safely respond to water related emergencies.
A special Thank You to the Town of Bedford Recreation Department for allowing us to use the Bedford Hills Pool for the pool portion of the training, and to the Stillwater Lake Association for allowing us to use Still Lake for the lake portion of the training.
Our members’ continued dedication to training strengthens BHFD’s rescue capabilities and helps us better serve the Bedford Hills community and our mutual aid partners.
